Over the past 20 Years plus, I was in involved in numeruous types of projects, ranging from Infrastructure Works to High Rise Buildings.
During my tenure in St Lucia, at the encouragement of a local entrepreneur, I transformed a small equipment rental business into a comprehensive development company, producing asphaltic concrete, crushing aggregates and undertaking both Government and Private Contracts. My general responsibilities included the preparation of the Company's Annual Budget, Investment Analysis, Material and Plant sourcing and acquisitions, Plant and material supply and rental rates review, Tendering, Contract negotiations, In-house designs, Work method design, Monthly Project and amalgamated cash flows, Finance Negotiations, Preparation and award of sub-contracts and general Project Management to include Preparation and updating of work programs, Cash Flow, Valuations, Quality Control, Plant and Labor allocations. Of particular interest was the feasibility study, Sourcing, Finance negotiation and acquisition of a 100 TPH Aggregate Crushing Plant to include the establishment of two quarries, infrastructure work, sand mining operations, washing and screening operations.
